Ceramic

Ceramic is the most used material after polymer plastic and metal.
The ceramic 3D printing technology reduces the manufacturing cost  and increases productivity.
The ceramic Functional Photopolymer (used for modeling and molding)  prints difficult structures.
The molding material withstands upto 302°F and
are used to print high  quality output with fine details.
The existing 3D printers are high priced but Carima’s desktop-sized
 specialized printers have been commercialized,
which can be easily used.  Now Ceramic 3D printers are being used in areas of
 R&D, institution,  university and company.

Specification

  • Carima's IMC is a desktop size and commercially available for use in research labs, institutions, universities, and the front-line companies that
were only available for high-priced and specialized fields
  • Shorten the printing time by lower the viscosity of the resin by the temperature retention system. .
  • Output speed differs depending on layer thickness and material used. .
  • User-friendly UI and easy Vat replacement design. .
  • Scratch & tear prevention with enhanced durable FEP film

Ceramic Materials

Ceramic Model

  • Ceramic Model Resin is able to print fine surface roughness and complex design. (25μm thickness)
  • Glaze can be applied to the output regardless of sintering step, Strength is much stronger than after sintering, but has no physical properties of ceramic (similar to plastic quality)
  • After sintering, shrinkage depends on model and design guide)
  • User-friendly UI and easy Vat replacement design. .
  • Able to use in manufacturing, art, architecture, and more.

Ceramic Molding

  • Before sintering, Heat resistance can be up to 150°C
in the form of a polymer.
  • After sintering, Ceramic molds for metal casting can
be made using ceramic molding materials such as a sand mold.

Ceramic Applications Using 'Carima'

  •  Carima's photo polymerized IMC has no problems with nozzle  clogging compared to extrusion 3D printing. In addition, it has  excellent features such as VAT tray durability, powerful UV light  output engine, high speed printing, and excellent surface finish,  high output success rate, and repeat productivity compared to  photo polymerization 3Dprinter.
(Depending on some models  and usage environment)

  • The result of IMC can be used immediately without sintering.  In addition, when applying glaze, the result of the ceramic physical  properties are lower, but the strength is much better than after sintering

  • Customer Analysis Case : 50%(University researchers – nanotechnology, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electronics, energy, technical ceramics. 20% Electronics companies, 10% metal investment casting companies , 10% chemical companies , 10% contract manufacturers
