About Carima

3D printer research

Carima 3D printer research team is continuing research to overcome the limitations of existing photo polymerization printers.
The best output speed among existing DLP (15~20cm per hour, based on IM2)

Fine control technology such as 99% uniformity of high power light source,

repeatable reproducibility without output failure,
maximize customer convenience (intuitive UI/UX, automatic material supply, etc.),

Existing DLP with temperature control technology and various molding technology in equipment.
We are focusing on research to overcome the low productivity of LCD and SLA printers and develop
and print materials with special properties that cannot be realized.

Photopolymer research

Carima is Korea's first photo polymerization 3D printer and material development manufacturer.
Also Carima’s outstanding chemical chemists have developed more than 20 types of materials and improved its properties.

We are developing a variety of materials such as non-toxic, castable materials, elastomeric,
flexible, firm, hard, tough, high tensile, high tensile, high temperature, and transparent clear.

3D printing research

We combine 3D printers and material control know-how to test and verify whether they can be used as real parts in dental and industrial applications. In addition, we are researching and developing DfAM to be used to reduce weight per part, reduce material consumption, improve productivity, increase durability, and improve structural performance.

Technology ultimately pursued by CARIMA

C-CAT (CARIMA-Continuous Additive Technology)
best technology to overcome the low hourly volume production of existing 3D printers.
